One thing that the listeners may not know about Majestic musicians Jeff Hamel and Jessica Rasche, is that we are extremely compassionate about the welfare of all the beautiful creatures that inhabit this great big world of ours. Very sensitive to the horrors that many creatures, wild and domesticated face everyday all over the globe, Majestic strives to make a difference when and where we can. Whether it be monetary donations, or songs specifically written to raise money for charity, if Majestic can help, we will.
This is why we are extremely pleased to provide to our listeners a song that was specifically written with animal welfare in mind.
The song “It’s Up to Us”, will not be found on any Majestic CD, or even as a downloadable on our web page. In lieu of that, it is our great hope and desire that this song can somehow benefit animal welfare in some small way.
Therefore we are offering this song to animal related charities that would like to sell it via the internet to raise money for their organizations. Please let us know if you are interested.
The lyrics were written by Jessica as a way for her to pay homage to the Animal Humane Society located in Golden Valley, MN. The Animal Humane Society holds a special place in Jessica’s heart simply for the compassion they have always shown to all the animals that are in their care, whether be it adoption, training, or in their final moments of life. She would like to send a very special “Thank You” to them.

Welcome,
As you can see, the Official Majestic website has been updated to coincide with the Arrival CD launch. We have updated the look, bios, music samples, with many extras like lyrics and video. With many projects on going the new blog will be our way of keeping everyone updated on the latest developments. The blog links directly to twitter for those who wishes to follow us there. We will talk about music of Majestic and other projects as well as anything else on our mind. 
So let us know how you like the new site and send us any topics you would like us to cover.

Things are certainly progressing, slowly, but still progressing. We are still waiting on the highly anticipated release of our CD “Arrival”. As promised the CD will still be available in July 2009 as planned! Check back often for our release announcement, as it will happen very soon!
Majestic is also happy to announce our new song “Where Were You” has been added to our site. While not being the typical prog song that Majestic is known for, “Where Were You” shows you the variety of genres that influence the band. This song clearly shows Jeff’s passionate writing ability, and you will be astounded at the “Majestic” instrumental he has composed! Jessica’s vocal will take you on a twisted journey of painful emotions, but she will leave you feeling empowered in the end.
Jessica will be performing the song at the 2009 Minnesota State Fair Talent show Auditions the end of July.
